The Kicking Mules of Temperance Bedford High School are working hard at getting ready for the 2009 football season under the direction of Head Coach Jeff Wood and his staff.

Bedford is a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC), competing in the Red Division along with Ann Arbor Pioneer, Ann Arbor Huron, Monroe, and Saline. The SEC Red Division will welcome Ann Arbor Skyline in 2010.

Chris Morris Youth Football Camp

Chris Morris, former Bedford High and Michigan State standout, and currently a member of the Oakland Raiders, is conducting a youth football camp under the direction of new Bedford High School Head Football Coach Jeff Wood.

You will learn the basic fundamental skills in a safe and fun atmosphere. You will develop football fundamentals, basic skills, and offensive and defensive positions, allowing you to enter the season with more confidence and a better understanding of the game of football.

We invite you to take part in this fun, worthwhile event. Your day includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, door prizes, prizes for the longest drive, most accurate drive, and closest to the pin. In addition, a Hole-in-One could win you a Pebble Beach Golf Vacation, plane tickets or other great prizes.

A hotdog and pop await you at the turn, and a steak dinner concludes your golf experience.

Groups are limited so be sure to register early.

Hole sponsorships are still available. If you would like to sponsor a hole, send the Hole Sponsorship form to Coach Potter. Be sure to include your artwork for your sign. Returning hole sponsors can renew their sponsorship at a reduced cost.

BEDFORD FOOTBALL PARENTS CLUB

All families are encouraged to volunteer during the season. There are many roles you can fill -- selling spirit wear, preparing snack bags, banquet planning, assisting with team dinners, etc. We are very proud of our young men, and need your help in maintaining this strong organization.
